Poppa B’s is a family restaurant founded by Boyce Slayman, Sr. and Jr. We are proud to serve high quality, home-cooked meals which reflect our southern roots.

We use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients and maintain the strictest standards of wholesomeness. Like all great restaurants most of our dishes are cooked to order.

We created Poppa B’s to be a cornerstone of our community; a place where folks come to dine with their families, have business meetings, socialize, and “catch up” with friends.

Our mission is to provide healthy portions of great tasting “down home” soul food in a pleasant environment, at moderate prices, and with efficient and friendly service.

Our vision is that Poppa B’s will be the soul food destination of choice for everyone, and that our customers will call us first for casual and corporate catering needs.
